Mockford Blinds and Decorators are a small family run business established in Eastbourne for sixteen years.

Jean and Harvey Mockford started the business as a husband and wife team in 1988 and were joined by Steve, who is in charge of fitting, in 1994. They were then joined by son in law Howard and daughter Lisa.

The Mockfords pride themselves on the quality of their service and blinds, using the finest components and fabrics available.

The Seaford branch opened in January 2000. It is open Tuesdays to Saturday and is manned by Jean and her son in law, Howard.

It was opened to serve the people of Seaford, Newhaven and Peacehaven.

The handmade vertical and roller blinds are made in their Eastbourne workrooms and are guaranteed for life. There is an option to change the fabrics anytime for a third of the cost of a new blind.

All other blinds are guaranteed for three years.

Harvey oversees the manufacturing side of the business and the sales and fitting of canopies and awnings.

Jean is in charge of the sales side, visiting customers in their homes, giving help and advice on the thousands of fabrics available and the suitability of each type of blind for a given situation.
